All visits and volunteer activities are coordinated by first contacting Stephen Velez-Confer, president. The Dorcas House Volunteer Coordinator will follow up to establish arrangements for you or your group. We can make hotel and meal reservations, suggest cultural events, and plan opportunities to establish relationships with the Dorcas House children and staff that will change your life.

We welcome visits from individuals and groups. You don't need to speak Spanish. Some of the staff are competent in English, and the children speak the language of love that we all understand. The following are examples of activities you or your group can participate in with the Dorcas House children. This list is not exhaustive, and new opportunities are discovered every day. The cost of a Dorcas House child for an entire year is $2,700. This amount includes housing, education, food and enrichment activities.
A Child's Education $600
A Dorcas House child’s education is $600. This amount includes registration fees, uniforms, school supplies, enrichment programs and tutoring, if necessary.
A Child's Food $240
The cost for a Dorcas House child’s food for an entire year is $240.
